Temperament & family life

A Golden Retriever makes a wonderful companion.

Golden Retrievers are affectionate, intelligent and loyal dogs that love being part of family life. Their friendly nature and eagerness to learn make them popular companions for families and first-time owners alike.

They enjoy spending time with their people, whether that means going for a walk, playing in the garden or simply relaxing together. They do best with regular companionship, exercise and attention, so they're happiest in homes where they can be part of everyday life.

Health & wellbeing

A healthy start begins with careful breeding.

Our Golden Retriever studs undergo hip, elbow and genetic testing before breeding, while our females are hip and elbow tested. These results help inform breeding decisions and support our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our dogs.

Before leaving for their new homes, every puppy is dewormed, vaccinated according to age, microchipped and checked by a veterinarian. Puppies leave with their vaccination card and microchip details, along with ongoing support as they settle into their new families.

Our puppies are KUSA-registered and leave with a breeding restriction, which can be lifted once the required certified health testing has been completed.

Everyday care

Keeping your Golden happy and healthy.

Golden Retrievers enjoy daily walks, games of fetch and opportunities to explore. They're intelligent dogs that also benefit from training, mental stimulation and plenty of time with their families.

Their beautiful double coat needs regular brushing to manage shedding and prevent tangles, with extra attention during heavier shedding seasons. Good nutrition, routine veterinary care and regular grooming all help keep them in good condition.
